Acid Calcium Silicate, CaSiO3.H2SiO3.H2O
Acid Calcium Silicate, CaSiO3.H2SiO3.H2O, is found naturally as the mineral okenite. A substance of the same composition has been formed by precipitating calcium chloride with sodium silicate. Gelatinous silica combines with lime-water, forming insoluble silicates of varying composition.
