Basic Calcium Chromate, Ca2CrO5.3H2O

Mylius and von Wrochem prepared Basic Calcium Chromate, Ca2CrO5.3H2O, by saturating chromic acid with milk of lime. It dissolves without decomposition and may possibly be regarded as a derivative of tetrahydric chromic acid.
